Royal Arsenal in London

My new neighbourhood of the Royal Arsenal riverside is an enticing mix of converted warehouses, old military barracks and an exlectix mix of cultures. Drab and cheap mixes with sophisticated and repurposed for a combination that is hard to quite classify. On one side of the Woolwich Arsenal station you have discount shops, people on council benefits and a few dodgy characters. Cross the street and you have a spotless, slick area that’s been renovated from former army residence and arsenal to chic condo and loft developments with a Thames Clipper ferry service to the centre and well-manicured lawns. Amazing what can change within 100 feet! Can’t wait til the weather warms up to take a nice stroll!
